Ivinson Memorial Hospital Rebrand
Over the past four years, I have had the incredible opportunity to design and develop an entirely new visual identity for Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Using the hospital's existing logo, (while drawing inspiration from the existing mission and vision as well,) I worked to develop a fresh new color palette along with a design system that calls for a consistent use of fonts, high-quality photography, and a touch of modern.

Last fall, I began working with the Ivinson Memorial Hospital Foundation to develop the collateral and visual identity of the 2018 La Grande Fleur fundraiser. LeePen Logo
Last summer, a client I often work with asked me to develop a logo and some collateral for an upcoming music project he's working on. After a few drafts, we decided on a logo and it was time to develop some additional collateral and visual elements to bring the logo to life. This project was primarily focused on building digital graphics for his various social media pages, but I decided to take it a step further and develop a sweatshirt mock-up using the same graphic elements.

Team Ivinson Shirts
A t-shirt I designed for Ivinson Memorial Hospital. This shirt was given out to any employee who helped out or volunteered their time during a hospital-sponsored event. The shirt's design highlights the mountainous terrain of Laramie, while expressing the Vision of Ivinson Memorial Hospital in bold. The back of the shirt is designed to emulate a sports jersey, with the number '17' serving as a reference to the year the hospital was first opened (1917.)

Mountain View Cafe Menu
In one of my first projects for Ivinson Memorial Hospital, I was tasked with giving the patient menus a bit of an update. I took this as an opportunity to do a complete re-design. A lot of people think hospital food is bland, and I wanted the new menu to get people to see that the food we serve at our hospital isn't. (FYI It's actually made-to-order and tastes great!)

Wyoming Office of Tourism Consult
For my senior-level marketing class, we were tasked with meeting with an actual client from the community to develop a marketing strategy for said client. This was a competitive project in which the class was split into groups, and each group was responsible for pitching their idea to client on the last day of class.
The client in this case was the Wyoming Office of Tourism, who needed help with enhancing post-trip engagement. They wanted to get visitors to continue to interact with and promote the Wyoming brand, even after they have left the state.

Lucky Seven Beers
I recently had the pleasure of working with Altitude Chophouse & Brewery to develop a shirt that promotes a very special microbrew collection they plan on releasing mid-December. The beers, as I am told, will be a limited release of seven, 750ml-bottled beers, each with their own unique flavor and cultural influence. The shirt is the classic pinup girl design, over a geometric badge/banner combo. The girl featured on the shirt has a tattoo of hops and wheat on her left arm, and it's clear she just loves to hang around the delicious Lucky Seven Beers.

Jim Gaffigan, Live at UW
Jim Gaffigan recently performed live at the University of Wyoming, thanks to the efforts of the Campus Activities Center's Concerts and Convocations group. As a fan of Gaffigan's comedy, I was pleased to be assigned to this project, and to design for a comedian I have long admired. The design, which I have dubbed, "pizza paisley," is based on some of the work that Gaffigan has done in his previous comedy albums and stand-up performances. Gaffigan's commentary on Hot Pockets, McDonald's, and food in general, were the main inspiration for this design. In addition to posters and banners, I was also tasked with developing t-shirts, giant window clings for around campus, backstage passes, and digital imagery for social media. This, overall, has been one of my favorite projects to work on since I have started working for the Wyoming Union.

The Destresser is an event held at the end of each semester by Campus Activities Center. The idea is to give students a safe, fun way to, "de-stress," without resorting to the use of alcohol. Students are able to create stuffed animals, play games and socialize with other students at the event. I was tasked with creating all of the marketing materials for the event, including posters, digital signage and imagery for social media.

These are the designs I created for the Trampled By Turtles show that actually happened last week here in Laramie. This was a huge project that I started in December, and included t-shirts, security badges, beer coasters, banners and even a sticker! I ended up getting free tickets to show, and was absolutely blown away by both Trampled and Elephant Revival. Their musicianship is awe-inspiring, and seeing a packed theatre that I helped to fill with my marketing materials was truly a proud moment for me.

MLK Days of Dialogue Branding
In the spring of 2015, I was approached to do a freelance project for the University of Wyoming's MLKDOD planning committee. The project? To develop a new logo for group, develop the brand image and design all of the marketing materials to be used to promote the week-long social justice event. No big deal.
The MLKDOD committee, (which, by the way, MLKDOD stands for Martin Luther King, Jr. Days of Dialogue,) organizes a week-long series of events, hosted in the Wyoming Union, dedicated to educating, inspiring and encouraging dialogue among students regarding social justice issues. These issues can include, but are not limited to, gender equality, LGBTQ rights, income inequality and racial inequality. During the week, students are encouraged to attend the seminars, coffee-chats and keynote presentations, with the goal, ultimately, being to get students talking about social justice.

Holiday Market
This is a project I finished at the end of 2014. I was tasked with creating all of the marketing materials for the Wyoming Union’s 2014 Holiday Market, which is an annual event in the Union that invites small business owners from around the region to come and sell their specialty goods to students before they return home for winter break. This project required me create newspaper advertisements, posters, special ‘Holiday Bucks’ to given out as prizes, and signage for around the building.
Every year, thousands of people from the Laramie community visit the Holiday Market to shop for goods they wouldn’t normally have access to. Since the Holiday Market is housed in the student Union, the goal this year was to generate student interest in the event, and, overall, get more students to come and shop. To do so, we came up with several marketing promotions the week leading up to the event, including a craft table, a free gift wrapping station and a hot chocolate/candy cane station. These promotions, coupled with our advertising efforts, made up the marketing campaign that resulted in an unprecedented growth in student interest and attendance: compared to just last year, student attendance increased an estimated 40-50%, with about 35% of all attendees being students.

I designed the logo and layout for the card, and made sure to take lots of photos when they arrived!
